Mountain cottage in Piane di Mocogno Modena - Italy

Roofing with Stone Grey 40X40

Roof tile: 40X40 Grigio Pietra

Roofing realised over twenty years ago in Piane di Mocogno, on the Modenese Apennines, in Italy,  at 1,300 metres above sea level.

In this case the Ardogres Grigio Pietra 40X40 shingle was used as a substitute for the local stone "piagna".

In such a mountainous context, it demonstrates its strengths:

Lightness - with only 25 kg/sqm, it is one of the lightest roofing tiles on the market

Resistance - Porcelain stoneware is unalterable over time and resistant to atmospheric agents

Resistance to frost - Porcelain tiles have almost zero absorption (<0.5%) and can be used in high mountain environments

Adaptability to large slopes and vertical walls

Aesthetics - The production process with digital technology makes it possible to reproduce any stone, marble or wood

Ease of laying - Laying with screw and slot hole is extremely easy
