Restoration of Cascina La Salette in Verderio Superiore (LC) - Italy

Covering with Stone Grey 40X40

Roof tile: 40X40 Grigio Pietra

Cascina La Salette in Verderio Superiore (LC) Italy, recently renovated and entirely refurbished, dates back to 1856, when it was entrusted by Count Luigi Confalonieri Strattmann to four local farming families. The complex takes its name from the "Madonna de La Salette", a locality in the French Alps famous for the apparition of the Virgin Mary in 1846.

Today, the building houses an important accommodation centre with a clinic, hotel and restaurant.

The roofing renovation was carried out with Ardogres Grigio Pietra 40X40 roof tiles. As in other situations, for more than 30 years, Ardogres shingles have shown to be suitable for all renovation work on historic buildings, which are also subject to historical and landscape restrictions. In addition to this, they are a valid solution for the renovation and replacement of asbestos shingles and other deteriorated roofing.

Ardogres guarantees its Porcelain Stoneware tiles for at least 50 years. This material is non-porous (absorption <0.5%) and resistant to frost, snow and hail. Used as a floor and wall covering, over the years Porcelain Stoneware has demonstrated these characteristics in outdoor environments characterised by particularly unfavourable climatic conditions; moreover, technical evolution has enabled it to faithfully reproduce the appearance and surface of natural materials such as slates, stone, marble and wood.
