Covering mountain buildings in Morzine (74) - France

Roofing of wooden cottages with Stone Grey 25X40

Roof tile: 25X40 Grigio Pietra

In the mountain town of Morzine in Haute Savoie, famous for winter sports and stages of the 'Tour de France', Ardogres shingles have been used to cover many buildings.

In this locality, the most popular product is Grigio Pietra 25X40, which replaces Morzine stone, a local slate, partly similar to that of Liguria (Italy).

Ardogres 25X40 flat tiles, including the new 'Morzine 25X40', guarantee stylistic continuity with traditional roofing in Haute Savoie (France) and high performance in a high mountain environment characterised by long winters with heavy snowfall. Note, in the last image, some details: the laying with hooks and the snow stop log typical of this area.

This collaboration led to the development of the new Morzine 40X40 and 25X40 tiles (https://ardogres.it/it/tegole-in-gres-porcellanato-e-accessori-ardogres/7-25x40-morzine), produced using digital technology to faithfully reproduce the graphics of the natural quarry product. The same was done for the production of the Red Cedar Aravis and Old Cedar 25X40 porcelain stoneware shingles.
