Restoration of the roof of a historic building with Ardogres Grigio Pietra 25X40

Since 1993, Ardogres has presented its innovative porcelain stoneware tiles in sizes 40X40 and 25X40.

From the early years, thanks to the collaboration with Alpes Prospect, these products became established on French territory, especially in the departments of Savoy (73) and Haute-Savoie (74).

In particular, Ardogres was used for new roofs, renovations and replacements of previous slate, stone, wood and asbestos roofs.

In this project, Ardogres Grigio Pietra 25X40 tile (Stone Grey) was used for the restoration of the roofing of the church of Saint-André-de-Boëge, near Thonon-les-Bains.

This tile, as well as the Morzine 25X40, is the most suitable for this type of building, which requires a perfect match with the stones and colours of local traditions.

Furthermore, Ardogres tiles are particularly suitable for use in mountain environments due to their resistance to snow, low temperatures, temperature changes and hail.
